Thanks buddy, but I think the Conti releases are over with.I sure hope I'm wrong, I get such a thrill out of Conti releases, I love them so. I do however hope you get all the Goldsmith releases you want.
Why do you think that? They have been released with respectable frequency for several years.
Now, don't go sappy on me, Henry....
Don't worry Steve, I'm not going sappy on you. I'm a tough bastard!
Personally one of my favorites of Bill's is Slow dancing in the big city-78, beautiful end theme, also a favorite is that catchy march from Seduction of Joe Tyman-78
I like SLOW DANCING IN THE BIG CITY as well, but it was only released in the Varèse Club a few years ago (coupled with Conti's F.I.S.T.) and took a long time to sell out. So I would not expect it to be re-released anytime soon.
I like to solve unknown composer credits for TV series and when I saw "Dolphin Cove" needed it, only shwing Klatman for "unknown episodes", I went to youtube and found the series.
I know from the IMDb page Conti had done the theme music, but I assuemd it was like normal -- theme only, nothing else. Turns out it was wrong. He is credited for the pilot score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv-htOIuigA
For those curious, Conti did one, Klatman did one, and Doug Timm did the rest.
