This just announced from Varese:

44 INCH CHEST
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Music Composed by Angelo Badalamenti
Additional Music by 100 Suns

Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, John Hurt, Tom Wilkinson, Stephen Dillane, and Joanne Whalley star in 44 Inch Chest, first-time feature filmmaker Malcolm Venville’s darkly comic tale of a man who rallies his friends in order to seek revenge against the French waiter who recently slept with his wife. Sexy Beast scribes Louis Mellis and David Scinto penned the screenplay for this film produced by Richard Brown and Steve Golin.

The mysteriously beautiful score is from famed composer Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks).

An international rollout of 44 INCH CHEST will begin on January 22, 2010.

Varèse Sarabande Catalog #: 302 066 992 2

From what I'm hearing, Angelo's new 44 INCH CHEST is sure to impress even more than his lovely previously scored TWIN PEAKS!

that's gonna be hard to beat. Definitely checking this one out. Still the Straight Story remains my favorite Badalamenti right there with Twin Peaks.

Ummm buddy, I haven't heard TWIN PEAKS. Or any Badalamenti, for that matter.

I wasn't commenting on the virtues of a score I haven't heard is all. Never you mind... wink

Ha. I was more subtle. Touché!

(and your image isn't showing up, but that's OK: I'm not sure I want it to.)
