Can anyone tell me which tracks on the LLL release make up the suite Goldsmith prepared for the original album release?

Thank you!

State Of The Art (*Lets Get Small)
Optic Nerves (*Enviromental Adjust)
Gas Attack - 0.00 to 3.00 (*Space Is A Flop)
The Womb/Stop The Car (*Gut Reaction)
No Messenger (*Air Supply)

*Original album cue title

Thank you very much!

This expansion is incredible. So many great themes and full of energy. Height of Jerry’s career.

There was a time when Let's Get Small was my number one favourite score cue by Jerry Goldsmith.
That slow, solemn build-up, with the yearning/questing trumpet (?) melody leading to a great main theme.
I must have played that 25 minute LP side hundreds of times.
I've always loved that militaristic vibe that JG could pump into his scores.
Yes, it's another score that's coated in tin-foil, but that was just his way during this period.
Quintessential Goldsmith.

Playing my glorious LLL expansion now.
Hard to believe we lived off 25 minutes of score for so long (yes, there were boots, but generally shit).
Over 50 MINUTES of unreleased material to savour in this edition.
Plus, the sonic upgrade is phenomenal.
I love the CD back cover art work. That would have been my first choice for the cover art.
That, or the finger/thumb poster.
I was never that mad about the European poster art that was used.
Still, vot a flick.

Even if you do try to replicate the old LP programme, from the six CD cues noted above, your old 25 minute run time still gets boosted to around 30, due to the extra music in the extended tracks.

Who is Vladimir Horunzhy?
And why was he roped in for additional orchestrations on this score?

God, I remember so vividly when this was announced. Thanksgiving Weekend, 2009. Right when everyone was waiting to see what Intrada had in store...and then they pulled Back to the Future out of a hat. Two Grails in under a week.

11 years ago. Feeling nostalgic.

Yes a great score indeed..and even though only in my humble opinion that 25 minute covered the best pieces..there are still great cues in the expanded...and the 25 doesnt match the score.

Reading the thread, I just noticed that this actually sold out within a few days of being issued, 3000 copies! Wow.

Kinda cool to see and hear the power of Goldsmith's music.

THIS^

Innerspace was, along with Star Trek TMP, my very first CD's I ever got (1987). Putting on Let's Get Small and hearing that huge, moving orchestral theme almost brought me to tears. (It still does). So wonderful to have such a heartfelt Americana theme be the backbone of a whacky Joe Dante comedy.

It took me years to realize it probably is the notes from Randy Newman's The Natural shuffled around, but I don't care.

Who chose the track title 'Let's Get Small' on the original album, if the one on the LLL expansion (State Of The Art) is the JG given one (I assume)?

Not sure. Must've been someone who liked Steve Martin's standup comedy. His Three Amigos Co-Star Martin Short, maybe?

Probably whomever produced the album for Geffen Records (I'm guessing Goldsmith didn't produce it, since it's 50 percent songs).

Yeah, always wondered what was up with that. Also Nancy Beach showed up around the same time on a couple Goldsmith scores. Maybe Arthur Morton was busy? Horunzhy worked on some Cannon movies around the same time.
