Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but it's now been confirmed. The Concert has been Cancelled. The exact reasons are UNCLEAR at this point. It was not due to poor ticket sales, they sold over 5000 the first week that tickets were available and according to my sources they had over 7000 tickets already sold. The bright side this news, my sunday evening is now open..... Ford A. Thaxton

Since Morricone cancelled... Why not go to the GSPO HALLOWEEN CONCERT instead (If you are going to be in the LA AREA!) , Why not? I know for some it's a long haul, but trust me if if it's as good as last year's, you'll have a blast! http://www.gspo.net/season.php Halloween Fright Night 7 october 24, 2009 • Stu has gone from playing piano in cocktail lounges to conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In between, he’s spent time as arranger and conductor for several major night club performers; been a successful A&R record producer; and composed music for television and theatrical movies. He has been nominated for four Grammys and is currently a member of the Motion Picture Academy (AMPAS); The Television Academy (ATAS); and the Record Academy (NARAS). This year’s Halloween Fright Night 7 concert will include music from both Battlestar Gallactica television series, as well as music from Buck Rogers, The Name of the Game is Kill, Star Trek and for the serious music lovers – pianist Robert Thies will be performing Mr. Phillips' "Variations for Piano and Orchestra." In addition, composer John Ottman will be in the house as GSPO performs the World Premiere of the End Credits of the soon to be released Astro Boy. Several members of the original Battlestar Gallactica TV show - including Richard Hatch, will be attending the performance. This is also a chance to try out your Halloween outfit – GSPO invites everyone to come dressed to impress for our annual costume contest.
