I concur with Disco Stu. It's a delightful score - quite epic but also lyrical and wistful in parts. I haven't seen the film, but the score reminds me of a French reimagining of Victor Young's 'Around the World in 80 Days', with a touch less whimsy.

I just purchased a copy a few days ago, and should have it in hand by the end of the week. I'd been meaning to pick it up for awhile, but with all the amazing must-have limited edition releases over the past few months, it kind of fell off my radar until I saw this thread. So I went to SAE and listened to the samples again, to refresh my memory, and not only does the music sound uplifiting, fanciful, and jubilant, as I'd remembered, it also has a very "Christmassy" sound at times, so I figured there's no better time than the present to snatch it up. I'm really looking forward to it, and hope that someday I'll have a chance to see the film as well.
