Just listened to this and loved it. Could someone shed some light on the cue "Dina Kills Again" for me? It's a reworking of a couple of themes/motifs from Beltrami's score to I AM DINA. Is there some connection or is this a fun in-joke on the part of the composer?

I loved this score (and the movie too) The song at the end is brilliant! The closing song on this CD, "La Terre Tremblant", is indeed magical. One of the best movie songs that I've heard in a long time. And the melody is interwoven through the score in a really satisfying way. Definitely check this out on iTunes if you didn't get the 'hard copy'.

I'm SO glad I picked this one up when it was announced. This is the first (and so far only) Beltrami score I've acquired, and I bought it based on the strength of the samples alone. I did eventually end up seeing the film a short while after getting the CD, and it was a pretty good crime thriller, but the score, OH, the score. What a masterpiece. I probably listen to it about twice a month (which is a lot considering how many darn CDs we have). I'm giving it another spin right now, while wearing a decent pair of headphones, and I'm hearing all kinds of things I hadn't picked up on before. It's like an additional layer of sounds have been added to the music. The CD is pretty pricey now, or so it appears from the listings on amazon marketplace, but you can get the score for $10 from iTunes if you're into that sort of thing. http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/in-electric-mist-original/id319417018
