Dear LK,
I know I emailed you when this was released with kudos, but I am playing this album.....again....and wanted to publicly thank you for releasing this score.
This music is really special to me, and I hope others, and you guys just did a fantastic job all around. Hell, even the MOVIE is good on this one, imagine that!

This is one of my favorite Jarre scores. His western scores are some of the best and I'd love to see releases of El Condor, Vila Rides and The Professionals.
Not only did L.K. and company do a great job with "Roy Bean" they also did a superb job with Grand Prix, a score that I didn't take to when it was released on LP, but the new FSM cd is fabulous, it's become one of my favorite Jarre scores.

Low quantity alert: this will not be repressed past the first 1500 units. We have 41 left as of 8/25/11!
Wonderful Jarre score, one that the composer liked quite a lot too.

Wish I had gotten this before it went OOP, because its use in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood made me want to hear the rest.
Tarantino has had a thing for this score for some time. When they were making Django Unchained, I got a call from WB that Tarantino might want a track, and asking what master sources I had. That didn't end up happening, but then the same call came for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and it did get used.

With FSM only pressing 1500 (of a planned 3000) before the license expired, is this available for a simple re-license, or is there no such thing (as a simple re-license)?
Maybe another 500 (or 1000) pressing from Intrada or Kritzerland would drive down the crazy prices and appeal to fans of the Tarantino film (as well as western/Jarre fans).

I don't think I've ever heard this soundtrack. Where was it used in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD?
It is used in the final sequence of the film when Rick Dalton meets Sharon Tate and Jay Sebring. Like you I was unfamiliar with it but knew it had that familiar Jarre sound; actually thought it might have been from Red Sun!

I wish a re-release of this could be engineered, instead of the 6th go-round of some JG score!!
The full 3000 were never pressed and it's now ridiculously expensive on the secondary market.
Plus, the main theme got a shot in the arm from that Tarantino/Manson film.
Any hopes?
