If they ever do an Ultimate Edition of the complete series on Blu ray, the Marineland special would be a major find after a long search and included. Who knows? MAYBE a print is lying around somewhere on the bottom of the Black Lagoon!!!
Wow, 14 years have passed since I created this thread, and thanks to the triple-L, it's finally come to pass. I'm doing the giddy Herman Munster dance!
P.S. Anyone else here struggle with the inclination to spell the name Herman with two r's and two n's? It looks odd with just one of each!
What the hell is up with Universal. Isn't there someone at that studio who can help get some great music onto CD. I've for one have been hoping for a release of The War Wagon, but I know it will probably never happen.
Post from April 2009; CD came from Intrada the following year.
'Munster Go Home' soundtrack anybody?
CD came from La-La Land in 2020.
I agree, I really would love a proper release of Henry Mancini's 'Charade' but it still looks as impossible as ever. You would think that as staff and Executives change there might also be a change in attitude but no, they just can't be bothered. A very sad situation.
CD came from Intrada in 2012.
Marshall also wrote some great stuff for the Henry Fonda/Alan Case western series, THE DEPUTY,
Included with The Munsters on LLL's imminent 2CD Jack Marshall Universal TV set! Gee, seems like we've had a pretty good 14 years. Maybe Marshall's The Giant Gila Monster will come from somewhere next?
Patience.

So this is why I still have hope for a LLL premiere of Bernstein's Devil in a Blue Dress, and expansions of Waxman's Sayonara and Spirit of St. Louis...

LOL I was thinking of the exact same thing while re-reading this thread the other day. It's like we've undergone some kind of reconditioning after so many years. Ha!
Guys, just how many Munsters soundtracks/records were released in the 60's? I think there were a couple. They weren't necessarily soundtracks but more like the Batman 66 release, when there was some snippets of dialogue from the shows followed by incidental music. Did Real Gone Music release one a few years ago? Any help from Munsters aficionado fans appreciated.
