The spouse would be bored to hell, so for me it's a solo FSM event if at all. My son and his wife live in Los Angeles, so it is always worth the trip to see them.
I may have some absolutely unavoidable professional issues to take care of that weekend. Otherwise, I'm be taking a look into the preliminary arrangements.

So Memorial Day weekend is May 22-23-24-25. Does that change things?
Well it certainly ruins things for me. I was planning on having a BIG party that weekend, I assumed Memorial Day was around the 31st like it usually is. :-/

Hey Ron, I just came across some pop-up offering 2 free JetBlue roundtrippers. Don't know the hitch but hey, why shouldn't 2 Jersey boys crash this west coast shindig! And we can haul Preston over, too!!
Actually I am really surprised there aren't more people lining up for this. The last one was incredible, a peek behind the inner sanctum, showing how all these amazing releases get done, plus meeting so many others we've heard about but never seen in person.
We'll try to make it! We were going to attend the GSPO concert in June, but this may rule over that venue. (It's difficult for J to get days off during the weekend *and* pin down Nana to babysit, so we have to pick and choose.)
Looking forward to a concrete date so we can plan accordingly...
Wow, I was there and I don't even rememeber such a sea of sad faces - what the hell! I remember lots of chatting, laughing and stories being told, so hopefully that experience can be continued! I will certainly be there...
