Right you are, Filmmusicnow,

it was MEDIC, not THE MEDIC. Funny, I didn't even notice I was reading and typing the THE, otherwise I would have made the correction myself.

it still freaks me out that early television gave EVERY tech person a credit, but almost never the music COMPOSER (unless there was a theme SONG0
Quick, who composed the theme for HARBOR COMMAND, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN, HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL....
????

Jim (Doherty) I totally agree! The tracks used for this "LP" must have come from somewhere.....somebody must have them somewhere.....and it certainly ISN'T "Klauss Kuse"...

Let's hope we get to see the RICHARD BOONE SHOW scores (whoever owns those) and the vast amount of Herrmann's Universal TV scores on CD sometime in the future.

Amazon has a 44 episode 6 DVD box to "Medic."

The series may look tame and dated now, but in the mid 50s it was somewhat ground breaking. I watched some episodes last Winter and Spring on TV. It was very realist, looked like it had a very low budget. Wonderful Victor Young theme. I sure wish Young had lived longer. In the 60s I'm sure he would have scored many TV shows and TV movies. Right up to the end of his life he was right on top of his game and never lost his gift to compose great melodies.
