Man, Sci-Fi movies were so much better in the 70's . Even lesser efforts like Phase IV, Demon Seed and Soylent Green had a real concept at the core and the movies took the time to really develop that idea (Of course with varying degrees of success).

And Colombier's music here is the real thing. Love it.

Saw Colossus: TFP for the first time last night.

I was in a strange mood for retro sci fi: big computers with flashing lights, long, echoey corridors and LED displays. The film didn't disappoint.

It turns out the film gave me more than just a 70s sci fi fix. The ending was very surprising, very thought-provoking. I couldn't help thinking that Colossus was an allegory of a certain FSM-unmentionable subject.

You need to integrate some of the pseudo-nude shots.
Sometimes a glass that's half empty is actually full.

I would love a release also but I rather doubt there's more than twenty some odd minutes of scoring in the film overall. If a deal could be made with Universal, the logical diskmate would be his excellent score for the 1971 made-for-TV score for THE OTHER MAN with Roy Thinnes and Joan Hackett.
