look Rimmer, you escape from the castle if you want to, but I'm going to be over here chasing to the airfield!

"The Chase to the Airfield" is a 3 minute piece of pure film music bliss. I have been known to repeat it during listening sessions of this album. Cheers Chris

I suppose we could chase to the airfield and then escape from the castle? Might get a bit confusing. But as long as we can machine gun some Alpine Korps out of the window of the bus, blow up a bridge or two and crash into some planes...and I get to let Ingrid bite me along the way, then I'll be happy.

I'll go along with you up to the Ingrid Pitt part, but after seeing her in Vampire Lovers, I ain't so keen for her to get her teeth into my neck. But the rest, bring it on, now where's my STG 44.

This is just a non sequitor, but are there any Salter/Skinner fans amongst the Goodwin appreciators? Or do the twain never meet, in which case I shouldn't bother mentioning this? But I just bought WHERE EAGLES DARE/OPERATION CROSSBOW, never having seen either film nor heard either score, and I was suddenly struck by the last thirty seconds of CROSSBOW's track #3, (beginning at 1:34) -- which suddenly sounds exactly like something that Salter or Skinner could have put into something like GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN... Anybody else out there hear this kinship?
