It's been a while without photos of Mom and Baby...so...how's Mom and Baby? You guys getting any sleep? Photos? Also, can you still play your soundtracks LOUD anymore or do you have to use headphones because of baby?

Also, can you still play your soundtracks LOUD anymore or do you have to use headphones because of baby? Hey Dave! Mom and baby are doing very well. Ayla's a bit over 7 weeks old now, and she's getting into a pretty regular sleeping pattern, now sleeping in 4-5 hour stretches at night (sometimes as long as 6-7 hours!), so we've been lucky in that respect. I still play my soundtracks loud as ever. I figure either Ayla loves 'em or is totally indifferent. Whether she's asleep or awake, she can be in the same room as the stereo and it doesn't seem to bother her a bit, regardless of what type of music is playing or how loud it is (although I'm aware of the fact that babies have sensitive ears, so I make sure she's at least 6 inches away from the speakers at all times ). When she's being particularly fussy, though, I break out the headphones, for both our sakes. Holly and Ayla took me to the San Diego Zoo for (my first!) Father's Day, and we had a blast. Well, Holly and I had a blast...Ayla slept the entire 4 1/2 hours that we were there (see first pic below). Josh
