This is a great, sadly much overseen movie, that had the misfortune to be released simoultaneously with the over hyped Matrix. It has a very interesting story line, much better than Matrix, and great acing from all involved. Of course, I especially loved Armin Mueller-Stahl in this one. I had visited him a couple of weeks ago, during a presentation of his new paintings, and I still could slam myself for not asking him about this movie.
And I love KloserĀ“s beautiful orchestral (with some synths in it) score.
Never saw the film. So no comment on it, although I wouldn't mind rrenting it at some point.

That's why I'm not a dyed-in-the-wall film music collector. I would have seen the film first, & then maybe checked out the music - Please don't throw me off this board.
I got the movie on blu-ray as part of a discount deal, I remembered seeing it years ago and liking it and wanting to check it out again. Having just done so, I remember what I had liked mostly was the story (and its twist). My reason for posting in this thread is of course the music by Harald Kloser. It feels totally out of place; it is so overblown and misses all form of subtlety. It might still be ok on disc, but in the movie, for the majority of its running time took me out of the movie instead of make me involved.
