Yes, this is radio, and MUCH shorter than the movie, but it does star Robert Benchley, who is a much better choice, to my mind, as a bumbling, put-upon husband with a grand fantasy life. (Sadly, it has no David Raksin music like the film.)

I'll bump this to say that I'm watching this movie for the first time since the early 80's, when I saw it in one of David Raksin's classes.
My but this is a funny movie, although I've never been fond of Danny Kaye's specialty bits (ditto with Garry Moore). I guess it's no different than Mike Myers doing his "Fat Bastard" schtick in the middle of that Austin Powers movie, though.
And what a supporting cast!
And the music is just grand. Maybe another Raksin set will come out one day and we'll hear it.
