When I was doing research on TLD, I found that the ghetto blaster music was provided by the De Wolfe Library and is called 'Driving To The Edge of Time'. Unfortunately I can't verify it 100 percent as I couldn't track down this piece from De Wolfe publications, so I couldn't compare.
While you are here, can you confirm whether The Rolling Stones were suppose to do the GOLDENEYE song originally, production by Mutt Lange? I have heard this often.

About the Rolling Stones rumor or all the other ones you read around the net, usually there's a lot more smoke than fire. Its usually a result of fans getting some inside info, blowing out of proportion and promoting "Man, wouldn't it have been cool if xy done that song instead of that trash what's there now?"
Regarding the Rolling Stones thing in particular, that was pushed by MGM's music department waaaaaay early in production. One of the associates travelled to London to meet with the Stones and their manager, but the group cancelled the meeting before it took place. After another failed connecion attempt, MGM moved on.
They put together two demos on a tape, which didn't win over the producers. They later developed one of the melodies into ‘This Must Be the Place I Waited Years to Leave’.

They asked Blondie to perform the song. What was confusing is that the band thought they can write the song, not just perform the song they were handed. They quit after learning the sad truth - the song now released is what they wrote, but at the time of its rejection it was still just a vague shadow of its latter self.

Anything on Elias/Corsaro's involvement with Barry appreciated.
Corsaro produced the AVTAK and TLD songs and had a more substantial part in arranging and mixing the first song. I'd say the ammount of work he had to do with getting the bands together with Barry and work out things was very demanding.

There were no vocals, it was meant to be an instrumental theme.
I actually listened to that clip that The Cat mentioned. It is in "The Raft" part of Creepshow 2, but is not the same as The Living Daylights "ghetto blaster" music (which IS featured later on in the same "Raft" segment, while the kids are entering the water.

I had a dream about the the plot in the raft.
Some black water (in a look-alike of Oil) that was sucking you down even if it was on the ground - like it was a port to another dimension - it scared the shit out of me. And it was not just one dream, one night. It was the same dream - althoug slightly changed/varied but still same plot - spanding several nights.

Dixieland also 'got me' - IMO Evil Dead wore it better. Ending The Evil Dead with that piece...chilling.
