And to think I was just entering another booze-n-cyanide-soaked evening of lament over missing the initial release when, lo, this announcement was... announced! ORDERED.

thanks for posting this. I would have never known that this was available. Just ordered a copy myself. The Changeling is one of my all-time favorite horror films.

There is an ever-expanding list of films inspired by THE CHANGELING: THE SIXTH SENSE THE RING DARK WATER SHUTTER A remake would be a terrible idea. Few would realize THE CHANGELING was the original, not a pale knock-off!

I agree Mike, the casting is great. This movie would not likely be served well as remake. It's steeped in a level of convincing atmosphere and dread that I've rarely seen in another movie. This one's really special, I'm dumbfounded that anyone could think it's a boring film in need of a remake. Easily one of my favorite horror cd's, too. NP: The Unseen (Michael J. Lewis)

Who da hell is Rick Wilkins??? I've never heard of him until I cliicked on this thread! A Canadian composer, shoehorned into the production for fiscal purposes, whose contributions still managed to be relevant. At the time, the socialistic Canadian government was giving very generous tax credits to movie productions, but with a few strings attached, namely the obligation to hire a number of local talent.
