Tune in to a new edition of On the Score at Film Music Radio (www.filmmusicradio.com) where composer DAVID SHIRE discusses his long-awaited return to major Hollywood scoring with his chilling score for ZODIAC. In this in-depth, on-demand show, Shire talks about adapting his classic, conspiritorial sound from The Conversation for the high demands of Zodiac director David Fincher- as well as his work with Francis Coppola, working on the disco sound of Saturday Night Fever, and how one notable fan of his work became his wife after hearing Farewell My Lovely. It's the kind of revealing tribute that you'll only hear at On the Score on Film Music Radio, the show and internet station that listens to the words and music of today's top composers. And be sure to stay tuned for archived shows that include Aaron Zigman (Bridge to Terabithia), Philip Glass (Notes On A Scandal), Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil (Perfume) and Alexandre Desplat (The Queen). And also be sure to download the new issue of Film Music Weekly, an internet magazine with reviews, interviews and the latest news on the world of movie scoring at www.filmmusicweekly.com Thanks for listening! With all respect to my friends at FSM and the awesome work they're doing, this interview covers different territory- making it unique for FMR. The more composer shows, the merrier in my opinion.

Great listening experience. It was nice to hear him talk about Oz, as thats my favorite, so many great themes. I talked with him when he came to my town to do a little show and he signed by Oz CD, he did say that was his favorite to work on, bottom line and loved it. i told him that I wished he could get those type of projects again as he is qualified for sure.
