Are you talking about Fierce Creatures? Oh wait, you mean First Contact. But...DOES it have similar qualities as First Contact? In that they both use instruments that play sounds, yes.


My bad, I somehow believed that it contained a theme that was similar to the FC one (in the string writing), listening to it again, that does not seem to be the case. So yes, they both contain instruments that play sounds! big grin

Mulan might be the one you're thinking of (if not Air Force One). The Overture for Mulan has a section that sounds like it's turning into the First Contact Main Title for a minute. Crazy.

I would think that any expanded Ghost And The Darkness release would come from Intrada, given that it's to be licensed from Hollywood Records.

In that case probably Air Force One, funny I could have sworn it was Ghost... What I did remember is the lion attacking motif -simple ok, but effective- and how well it worked in the movie. I haven't played this score in a while, nice to revisit it.
