When this film was released in 1984, I bought the vinyl LP soundtrack on the Varese-Saraband label. Has this ever been released on a CD that anyone is aware of?

One track - the vocal by Mari Wilson - was included on the Filmtracks compilation which is now OOP and HTF. Maybe Varese might do as a 1000-copy Club blowout, if they stil have the rights, although they've already done a Hartley score that way already (SHEENA).

In limited edition of 1000 Varese keeps releasing all their own LP releases that are available on LP only (released by their own label)... I knew about True Confessions and An Almost Perfect Affair, I knew about Making the Grade, The Bride... but wondering now what LPs they released some years ago and have not been released on CDs yet...

Does anyone have any information what LPs varese released and they are still unavailable on CDs through either Varese or any other label?

Fine - Hartley might be Imho a possibility for one of the Varese Clubs during the next few years smile

Might this be a future 'who said that' or 'we can't hear you' release from Varese?
I'd love to have it on CD.

He, he....Dance With a Stranger. That's the name of a famous Norwegian soul band (mostly active in the 80s and 90s). That's all I wanted to say.

I finally caught up with this 1985 film three years ago. An intriguing film, based on a true story. I like just about all of Hartley's scores, and this is no exception. I'd welcome a release of the LP.
