Does anybody have either or both of these David Michael Frank scores? I've never seen the films (though I want to), but I'm curious if they're anything like his great scores for ABOVE THE LAW and HARD TO KILL.
I have 'HERO AND THE TERROR' on CD and had 'CODE OF SILENCE' on LP. The first is a mixed bag, the 4 or 5 Jazz/Fusion tracks are good, the rest is suspense music and isn't that good. 'CODE OF SILENCE' was the same Jazz/Fusion style of 'ABOVE THE LAW' and 'HARD TO KILL', only much better. A real shame this never saw a CD release.

NP- Code of Silence - David Michael Frank
I sure wish you fellas at La La Land would give this record a listen. The funky mix of jazz and electronics knocks me out every time I've put it on. Action filled & relentlessly creative scoring, an '80's classic!
Code of Silence is the better score AND film of the two...not that Hero is bad, just not as funky! Also, don't forget Frank's OUT FOR JUSTICE and SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO...both cut from the same, great 80's musical cloth as Code of Silence.
By the way, Code of Silence is Chuck's best film in my opinion(Delta Force being a close second/equal!!)
