While Zimmer still wrote a few fine scores after this one, I think after this score the decline in quality started. It has some great action tracks, a wonderful theme and makes great use of the choir. I would love to see Zimmer write songs more often than he does. His collaborations with Trevor Horn (this one, Days Of Thunder, Toys) are usually top notch. One of my favorite Zimmer scores of all time. I love the organic sound of Zimmer's recording which I haven't heard in a long time. Sure it's nothing groundbreaking but it's a great fun to listen to. A great album but would be interested to see an expansion at some point.
