If this is not a bootleg, then GDM has not done its homework in issuing its "expanded" version. Is the disc in stereo?

i am positive too it was Edda on For a few dollars more JB, dont think morricone used Spagnola on this at all, i think she was on Hills Run Red and obviously NAVAJO JOE,hers is a more earthy sounding vocal, edda,s is soaring flawless and almost heavenly. I seem to recall reading that this was this was the first time tha EM used Edda Dell'Orso as soloist and not G.S.Also if you compare the mentioned track to say those in Navajo Joe or Moses(which are credited to G.S.),the soloist is (more likely) a soprano(Edda) and Navajo Joe a mezzo (Gianna). John, it seems that you and a number of other FSM board members understand that Edda was the vocalist on FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE, and I bow to your combined expert opinions - Edda it is! A few years ago Gianna told me in conversation that she performed FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE, but I now will assume, because of the language barrier, that I misunderstood her. My Italian is not good, and she spoke very little English. - John Bender

The expanded edition of FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE that John Bender talks about clocks in at 55:33 and has 24 tracks. It is not a bootleg as I understand it. The problem is that it's just not for sale anywhere and no doubt was never intended to be sold in stores. It differs from the GDM version in that it has no annoying sound efx, doesn't repeat tracks and features a fistful of cues that weren't on the GDM or RCA releases. Herewith the track listing: Thanks for the information. Sounds like an interesting set of tracks.

Very happy to see someone post the longer version of this score. I've been complaining about GDM's releasing of scores, calling them complete and they are not. If anyone read the Once Upon A Time In The West post, they know of my search to place all the cues in order on disc. After acquiring several discs, I will begin the process starting in March. From my South American source, I have been informed that someone is placing For A Few Dollars More in order. My personal venture has been in completing West, know that score backwards and forwards. For A Few Dollars More, I am not that familiar with; therefore, I purchased it believing it was complete. Again, thanks for this information.

It is more than possible Gianna was in the recording studio with the rest of them and appears somewhere in the mix on that score given most of the Cantori moderni appear to have contributed - all the men are on there for sure for male chorus, but doesnt seem like she appeared anywhere as a soloist.
