Also, there seem to be not two, but three cues that are repeated on the LP and the Prometheus CD?
Main Theme = End Title the two No Alternative tracks Queen's Messenger = Just Sit Tight [both of these seem to be in mono]
Where is the correct placement in the film of the "No Alternative" cue and the "Queen's Messenger/Just Sit Tight" cue?
You are correct about the third repeated track. Worst Goldsmith LP, ever. I just rewatched the film and there is a lot of good music that was left off in favor of just repeating three tracks!
Do you think Queen's Messenger or Just Sit Tight has better sound quality? (I only want to keep one.) I'm leaning towards the latter, even if it's in mono and the former's in stereo.
Stay tuned for a complete score breakdown of this one. All I still need to do is try and figure out whether some of the cues I marked "unreleased" are actually on the album, because both the score in film and on album are both such a mess. As far as I can tell, multiple album tracks have more than one cue, perhaps from different parts of the film. And several cues from the album are highly truncated in the film, making it even more confusing to try and match stuff up. Sky Chaser in particular is just mangled in the film, and the end credits starts out the same but then either endures an edit into a tracked in cue or there was a substantial alternate written.
