The only western film that Shostakovitch had any connection with was the 1962 Vittorio de Sica film "The Condemned of Altona" which starred Sophis Loren, Maxamiilon Schell, Robert Wagner and Frederic March. I can't find out anymore about it and I doubt it was an original score but can anyone throw anymore light on the film and score ?

Found it on YouTube and either it’s “Cowboys vs Time-Travelling Nazis” or it’s a WW2 film smile . It’s tracked with the 11th symphony and admits to it in the music credit. Thanks for the heads up - always interested in this kind of thing.
