I have this as well and it's interesting work on his part. It's mostly techno, but some of the signature Beltrami-isms are still there. I don't like it as much as some of his recent work, but it's a good and interesting change of pace score.

I got I the same way a few years ago.
Very good thriller score, I like it. i haven't played it in a while though, so ic an't be too specific.
There are some technoish parts, but, being written by a composer, they're not chaotic and beat-for-beat's-sake. Nice violin parts too, I vaguely remember.
A really good blind purchase-- or maybe there was one samepl back then, I'm not sure.

Im really suprised Intrada still has these, I would have thought it being a promo and all it would be gone by now, unless it just got posted.
Espcially(sp) at the price it is.

It's very good - album doesn't overstay it's welcome and ends with what I feel is the best cue Beltrami has ever written, '9m2', a great sinuous piece for strings.

I've had this album for 5 or 6 years, and still pull it out every now and then. Got some good stuff on there. Good buy, especially for 5.99

Yeah, but with shipping it comes to $13 for me here in Europe, and that ain't all that cheap.

Still, I'm also a Beltrami fan and I'd like to check this out some time. It's a Danish film directed by Ole Bornedal (or possibly an American remake).

Real nice cue kinda reminds of Donaggio.
I like strings used in horror movies another one of my favorite stringed cues is the Epilogue from Williams The Fury.

Beltrami's Deep Water score is hit-or-miss for me. A lot of it is meandering strings and strange techno-vocal stylings; however, there are some really gorgeous, intimate cues on the score that are just lovely as hell. "Das Booty" is particularly nice...
