Our CAT is a fan of Ben-Hur
To suggest otherwise is a slur
When she hears that old Rozsa
She loses compozsa
And can't help but dribble and purr

Thor's knowledge of music's intensive
and his recall of old threads extensive.
He likes a small lager
Does our Mr Haga
Or he would if it weren't so expensive

The forum is better for Ford
'though he seems to be easily bored
But he doesn't get vexed; he simply says
"NEXT"
Which is why he's so widely adored

What can one say about Zippy?
That he's left field, and offbeat, and trippy?
That some of his threads leave us scratching our heads?
I hope Roomie's got a good grippy....

big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin big grin

And now one for you, TG...

An extraordinary chap is our Chris
Sends me music accross the abyss
All the scores I have gotten
Have spoiled me quite rotten
There's a Tall Guy to thank for all this

I would be shamefully remiss
If I failed to mention dear Kris
At first quite a mystery
But all of that's history
And now I have POWDER and BLISS

Dogbelle speaks out 'cross the din
To think he's not wise is a sin
He's cheerful and kind
A new dog bowl he'll find
It's a happier world 'cause of him

Why thank you Cindy!

One more.....

Manderley you'd have a good time with
Could even commit any crime with
Old films are his game
And I bet his real name
Is less of a bastard to rhyme with

I speak of a lady named Donna
Goes by Sis on the board when she's onna
She is blissfully wed
To a husband named Ed
Goes on all of the cruises I wanna!

tallguy and CAT.....

Wonderful!

Now THIS is what we need in the new revised FSM magazine: A composer limerick in each issue.

Seriously.

Here's something different:

A haiku for you, tall guy:

John Williams writes scores
Which brightens my hum-drum day
On my new ipod

And Swoony now offers a haiku...
Would using a few more words psyche-u?
And even then - my God
He mentions his ipod!
Oh, Swoony, that's so very like-u

smile

If you will allow me to try this limerick sport I would like to give it a shot.

Is this as tough as poker in Las Vegas?

I am under the care of Dr. Phil.

He has already decided that season 4 would be a good place for my particular story and I agree.

Oh, funny, mental incompetence.

Mr. Tall Guy has a keen eye
even though he's a short guy
his life has purpose
to correct his left eye.

Chances are that life so far,
will allow him to play his friends, like they are.

A real chance to make your mark will change an oppurtunity for you to prove yourself.

That's a great limerick. Or was it a haiku?

From Number Nine, Penwiper Mews,
There is really abominable news:
They've discovered a head
In the box for the bread,
But nobody seems to know whose.

Like CAT, it behooves me to mention
Our mutual friend, Mr Gentian
He sent us both Troy
(Me the score, CAT the boy)
They both got our fullest attention...

Ok...I'll take this one on! smile

Here's one 'bout a guy we all know
Our moderator named Sheriff Joe
Sometimes he's all ears
Till he just disappears
Then everyone screams, "Where'd he go?"

Please do not take my side Cat.

Les Jepson did the same thing and now look what happened to him.

Huh? Suave, Zip! Here's one for you...

Zippy, don't have any fear
The old CAT will always be near
To protect and defend you
And call you her friend too
Because she thinks you are a dear

(Chin up kiddo!)

A couple more, then I gotta rest my weary head.
(T.G., you've created a monster!) big grin

Dana Wilcox is awesome, in fact
He speaks with such logic and tact
Resides in West Palm Beach
Hey Dana, do you teach?
No wonder you're such a class act!

A fellow New Jerseyan is Blue Mule
Believe me, he's nobodys fool
Just hope he's not chokin'
On that air in Hoboken
Cause that wouldn't be very cool

This is SUCH an "in joke" .... thank heavens I am "in" on it to get the laugh... though I am not certain that Cat has been witness to Mr. Purdy..... (heh)
