Geez, no wonder FSM and Intrada have so much trouble moving the golden age stuff. No Waxman? No Friedhofer? No Steiner? No Newman?--etc., etc., etc.

Well, I keep my soundtracks in alphabetical order by composer, under the main composer (well, excpet The Rock I have under Zimmer for some reason) -- so stuff like Born on the 4th of July is still Williams, Mulan is Goldsmith, etc. I also have a couple after that are too split (namely, Penelope/Don't Make Waves, and the FSM Shoes of a Fisherman). Another thing is that classical stuff is with the classical, so Rosza and Williams and so on.... That said, here's some of my larger composer collections: 11 E. Bernstein 14 Delerue (one on the way) 14 Elfman 15 Goldsmith 15 Herrmann 15 Hisaishi 12 Horner 14 Rozsa (7 film, 7 classical) 13 Shostakovich (film, I have 22 classical) 29 Silvestri 42 Williams (38 film, 4 classical) I also have under 10 but love much of Poledouris, Goldenthal, T Jones, Steiner, and Rota. Also of course is game composers like Uematsu, Mitsuda, Iwadare, Shimomura, and K. Tanaka. My most of any seems to be Jean Sibelius with 43. I like variety...and this is albums, so multi-CDs count as one. I have heavy love for Saint-Saens, Rimsky-Korsakov, L. Bernstein, Dvorak, Mozart, Corigliano, Liszt, Hovhaness, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Gottschalk, Chaminade, Alfven, Gershwin, Smetana...the list goes on really. -Joshua -Joshua

Obviously a man with impeccable taste. Phideas & Aloysius would ADORE you.... and the boys have the most remarkable ability to sleep through any loud volume of music that I play... Of course there's always the possibility it has more to do with ennui, being the arcane creatures that they are....

I don't have stats to post, but I do have 616 albums. But, here's the burning question. . . When do we listen to them all? I have a score going at work right now. I also listen in the car, when I write and before I sleep. Anyone else?
