I see from Intrada's site that this has been reissued. Is there any difference between the original version and the new one?

It's expanded by several tracks. I've never heard a note, is it good? Donaggio's had his share of duds like Raising Cane, curious as to if anyone's heard TRAUMA before....

I can't comment on the music as heard on this CD but when I watched the movie on DVD (one of Dario Argento's worst, it has to be said) the score was mixed disastrously and at times seemed to play merrily along without any relation to what was happening on-screen. It seems possible the score was tampered with in post-production but I did have to ask myself at times what the hell was Donaggio doing? I like a lot of his work (Dressed to Kill, for example) but this one is simply weird!

Maybe it plays nicely on CD?

Tghe re-edition contains an inedit suite of about 10 minutes. Most of the music of that suite is really inedit while parts of it seem to repeat parts of the material heard elsewhere on the CD. The music of the CD itself is a bit less typical for Donaggio but an interesting listen.

Well, I have the original Cinevox release with 25 tracks including the song. However, I found the CD in a used store, and in this instance I accepted the marked and lightly scratched quality because it was cheap and rare. Unfortunately, it plays fine on my CD player, but not in my PC drive, where I do the bulk of my listening...So I'll probably buy it anyway.

By the way: what, exactly, is "inedit"?

I have this score (from Cinevox label) and there is a glitch on track 20 "The Room of the Veils" on timing 0:26. It can be heard from the left speaker only. Can anybody tell if the problem is in the master or on my CD. The CD has some very light markings but I doubt those cause the problem.

I don't have my headphones nearby, but I heard something that could be a glitch at that point. It seems likely since there's that huge glitch in the final track ("Trauma Suite").

Thanks for the reply. The problem must be in master tapes. In my edition "Ruby Rain" is the final track though (total of 25 tracks on my edition). No "Trauma Suite" here.

Hope this score will be released soon along with remastered sound.
