This film is very very good. Michael Caine and Kermit the Frog at their best - but topped by the wonderful score by the late, great Miles Goodman, and fantastic songs by Paul Williams.
An expanded release would be very nice for christmas 2019! Yes, I am talking you Disney collaborators at Intrada!!!

A new remaster of the film with WHEN LOVE IS GONE restored, as it should be, back into the movie would also be welcome!
Disney actually transferred the song in HD -- it's available as a "bonus" when you buy the streaming versions on Vudu and Itunes -- so it would be simple to do so.
This film and all the others, especially the original trilogy with Jim Henson. I'm really hoping Intrada gets these on deck soon, along with some Muppet Show rereleases.
Next year marks the 40th anniversary of The Muppet Movie, and there's a lot of music from the franchise that's either out of print or has never been released on CD.
It's a shame the Segal/Bobin movies are the only ones with their underscore fully released by Intrada so far, as they're pretty bottom of the barrel as far as the Muppet movies/scores go (managing to only surpass Muppets from Space, I guess).
