INDIANA JONES 5---Karen Allen commented on possibly returning for the newest sequel, "Hopefully. You know, I’m hoping. I’m very hopeful about that. I don’t know anything. I know they’ve been working very hard on the script, and they keep the story and the casting and everything like that so close to the vest until they really know what they’re doing. So I’m waiting patiently. It keeps getting delayed, and I guess they finally settled on about a year from this spring or something. But I probably won’t know whether I’m in the film or not until much, much later on down the line."
STAR WARS: EPISODE IX---Mark Hamill said security for the script is very tight, “You know how it is these days, every time you sign NDAs. I remember back when I read the first STAR WARS [script], I was like, ‘Wow, that’s the goofiest thing I’ve ever read.’ I gave it to my best friend to read, and I said, ‘What do you think of it?’ He said, ‘It’s really wild, it’s crazy, can I give it to Meredith?’ ‘Sure, go ahead.’ It went around to all my friends. Of course back then nobody cared.”
Hamill said the EPISODE IX script security is, “deep state government organization, like … the CIA."
DOCTOR STRANGE---Scott Derrickson is returning to direct the sequel.
THE WINDS OF WINTER---George RR Martin commented on the status of the book, "Me, I am back in my fortress of solitude, and back in Westeros. It won’t be tomorrow, and it won’t be next week, but you will get the end of A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE."
CONVERSATIONS WITH A KILLER: THE TED BUNDY TAPES---Netflix four-part docuseries with never-before-released audio interviews with serial killer Ted Bundy, who confessed to killing 30 women. The premiere is on January 24, the 30th anniversary of Bundy's execution.
HARBINGER---Dylan O'Brien is the top candidate to play Pete Stancheck in the Sony Pictures movie based on the Valiant comic book.

SELENA: THE SERIES---Netflix tv series based on the life of murdered Tejano star Selena Quintanilla.
DETROITERS---Comedy Central cancelled the show.
FEMALE VS MALE MOVIES---a study by Creative Artists Agency and shift7 found that female-led movies brought in more box office than male-led movies. The study included 350 movies from 2014-2017 of which 105 were female-led and 245 were male-led. The female-led movies had more box office.
Criticism of the study's methodology pointed out that STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS and THE LAST JEDI were listed as male-led movies, although Daisy Ridley was the main character in both movies.
TRIVIA---in REAR WINDOW's opening scene, photographer Jeff Jefferies (Jimmy Stewart) has a telephone conversation with his editor, whose voice is provided by Academy Award-winner Gig Young.
