I'm VERY excited for this. I have no connection to the show, but I love the brief samples I've heard. My kind of synth score, and already a contender for my Top 10 of 2019 when I'm doing that list in December, I suspect.
Picked up the CD recently. If you dig 80s retro synths in the style of Tangerine Dream (with hints of Orbital), this is for you. It totally delivers and is a great listen. Will be spinning this one often!
Yeah, it's good. Now that I've heard the whole album, I'm not as excited as two posts up, but still more rewarding than their STRANGER THINGS stuff, IMO. I just wish they 'cleaned up' their synthwave a bit more; they often do a little too much fuzz and grit effects, so they lose some of the thematic/funky thread.
