It's not track 25. The cue as I remember it sounded like it was all synth, which immediately caught my attention since it was such a departure from Rota's style.

I think I remember more clearly the "experimental" cue you're referring to. It's just sort of a sustained, synthetic hum isn't it? I have to wonder if it was even composed by Rota. It could've been an avant garde track from the CAM music library.
It would break my heart if it was library music lol but yes, it was a synthetic sort of hum. Not that it overshadows any of Rota's significant contributions

I would think that this piece would've been included if it had been part of the Rota/Savina recording sessions, so I'd venture it wasn't. It could've been composed/performed by Rota in another studio - Rota, of course, was no stranger to experimental/avant garde, as his "Satyricon" score proves. Or, like the "Fiesta" song that Saraghina dances to, it could've been from a different composer & source altogether. It almost sounds like it could've been by Giovanni Fusco as this wouldn't be out of place in Antonioni's "L'Eclisse," for instance.
If it was composed by Rota, it's probably lost because I assume it would've been included on this release. It was from another source, it might exist (and might even be on YouTube) but we'd need to find out the name of the piece and the composer. Not sure where to start looking, though...

I'm having difficulty locating the rhumba cue heard when the character Saraghina first appears, dancing on the beach -- I'm guessing it also wasn't included?

Stefan Schlegel noted above that the Saraghina music is actually the song "Fiesta" by Walter Samuels and Leonard Whitcup. What we hear during her beach dance is a recording of that song arranged by Aldo Rossi (though it sure sounds like Rota). At the moment, the Aldo Rossi version isn't on YouTube, but it might be floating around out there.
