I received mine a couple of days ago. There are only 17 episodes in season two, but they are choice! 'Demon With a Glass Hand' which features The Bradbury Building in downtown L.A. (and Robert Culp), is one of the most memorable episodes of...any television series from my childhood. I've only viewed the first in this series, 'Soldier' starring Michael Ansara, and the image and sound quality is super! What I immediately noticed though is the music is no longer by Dominic Frontiere but by Harry Lubin. When the closing credits began to play, there was this 'melancholic theme' playing over them, eventually attributing the music to Lubin. Anyone else start to dive into these episodes yet?
Still got the dvd set. But I love the series. And those two are without doubt my favourite episodes. I also prefer the Harry Lubin music. The theme is great, but don't some of you on here say that it was recycled from somewhere else? One Step Beyond...? Shame if true.
The end theme for OL and One Step Beyond are basically the same. There isn't much of a main theme for either. I wish they had used something by Lubin for the menu instead of Frontiere's Main theme for Season One.
The remarkable aspects of Season 2 are the bonus features - the two pilots, interviews, etc.
I dunno if you thought your video equipment caused the bad audio, or it was from a hearing problem. Either way, you might be careful reviewing audio-related products. Here's audio-only from part of the bad section. Warble is noticeable in music and dialog, making it difficult to watch the show, like at 6:15.
