HIGHEST-GROSSING ACTORS---Screenrant released its list of the top ten highest-grossing actors based on the money earned from all of their movies.

1. Robert Downey, Jr.--$11.3 billion
2. Scarlett Johansson--$10.7 billion
3. Johnny Depp--$10 billion
4. Vin Diesel--$9.6 billion
5. Tom Hanks--$9.4 billion
6. Tom Cruise--$9.4 billion
7. Emma Watson--$9 billion
8. Samuel L. Jackson--$8.8 billion
9. Daniel Radcliffe--$8.2 billion
10.Chris Hemsworth--$8.1 billion





THE DEVIL SOLDIER---movie underway based on the book by Caleb Carr (THE ALIENIST) about mercenary Frederick Townsend Ward during the Taiping Rebellion in China from 1850-1864. Antoine Fuqua is the producer and may direct the movie.

SNAKE EYES---Robert Schwentke (THE CAPTAIN) is in talks to direct the Paramount Pictures G.I. JOE spinoff movie

CRUELLA---Craig Gillespie (I, TONYA) is in talks to direct the Walt Disney movie starring Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil.

SESAME STREET---Anne Hathaway is in talks to star in the Warner Bros. live-action movie based on the PBS tv series.

CUT THROAT CITY---Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes and Ethan Hawke star in this movie about four friends involved in a New Orleans casino heist that goes awry and are pursued by a gang warlord and the police.

AMAZING STORIES---Edward Burns (SAVING PRIVATE RYAN) will play government agent Bill Kaminski in an episode of the Apple tv reboot of the Steven Spielberg tv series that ran on NBC from 1985-1987.

PENNYWORTH---Polly Walker (ROME, PATRIOT GAMES) will play Peggy Sykes, sister of dominatrix Bet Sykes, in the Batman prequel series.

MOVIE LENGTH---director Joe Russo said the two-hour movie may be at an end, “We are in a major moment of disruption. The two-hour film has had a great run for about 100 years but it’s become a very predictive format. It’s difficult, I think, to work in it… It’s sort of like saying, ‘We all like sonnets, so let’s tell sonnets for 100 years, as many ways as we possibly can… I’m not sure that this next generation that is coming up is going to see two-hour narrative as the predominant form of storytelling for them.”

DAREDEVIL---the cancelled series was Netflix's fourth-rated show in viewer demand according to Parrot Analytics which reinforced speculation that Walt Disney had a hand in the Netflix cancellation of DAREDEVIL, IRON FIST and LUKE CAGE because Walt Disney is developing its Disney+ streaming service which will include Marvel Studios programs.

SUPERGIRL---Jessica Meraz will play villain Menagerie.

THE GOOD PLACE---NBC renewed the series for Season 4.

JOHN GRISHAM---Hulu is developing a John Grisham tv universe with two shows based on Grishasm's THE RAINMAKER and ROGUE LAWYER.

MY BRILLIANT FRIEND---HBO renewed the series for Season 2.

NARCOS: MEXICO---Netflix renewed the series for Season 2.

DR. MIRAGE---CW series underway based on the graphic novel about a female paranormal investigator who can communicate with the dead except the love of her life.

DEMON'S PATH---Netflix Hong Kong-based comedy horror series about a forensic pathologist who can see the last ten seconds of a dying person's life and teams up with an exorcist and a cop to solve murders while they are being targeted for murder themselves.

SMART BLONDE---Annaleigh Ashford will star in the Judy Holliday biomovie.

BETWEEN TWO FERNS---Netflix movie underway based on the Zach Galifianakis talk show.

TRIVIA---THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "The Grave" (October 27, 1961) starred Lee Marvin, Strother Martin and Lee Van Cleef. The trio reunited to co-star with John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart in THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE, which was released six months later on April 13, 1962.

THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "The Grave" starred Lee Marvin, Strother Martin and Lee Van Cleef.






Marvin, Martin and Van Cleef reunited to co-star with John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart in THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE.
