I am a bit biased, because it is my podcast...but Barry De Vorzon delivers an absolutely fantastic in-depth interview about his careers in the music, TV and film industries. We chat about the theme for SWAT, "Nadia's Theme" (aka Cotton's Dream), his work with James Brown and Larry Cohen on Black Caesar, and the scores for Bless the Beasts & Children, Dillinger, Hard Times, The Warriors, Night of the Creeps, The Exorcist III and much much more. Check it out!
Sadly no. Even with 2 hours, we were not able to get to all his film. I would've loved to talk to him and Stick, Looker and a number of other projects...but he is a hell of a storyteller, and good stories eat up time. Maybe I can get him to do a follow up sometime.
Listened to the first part and it's wonderful, as your podcasts always are. De Vorzon seems like a wonderful and bright man, and I love listening to him talking about his work. Also, I'd forgotten how much I loved "Bless the Beasts and Children." After hearing him talk about "Beasts" I listened to it again, and my what a beautiful, extremely melodic score - I can't believe there hasn't been a CD of it. Looking forward to the second part.
When I emailed with Barry a few years back he told me that Looker was one of his favorites. I'm still hoping that this killer synth score gets a CD release in the near future. I'd also love to see a CD release of De Vorzon and Joseph Conlan's V: The Final Battle and Stick.

Thank you so much. Barry is great. I loved to talking with him...and yes, that is a great score.
I'm interested if he discusses his work on Simon & Simon.
So no? Yes? Both no AND yes? Perhaps yes and no?
Sorry, got sidetracked with work.
You could show some support and listen to the podcast to find out...but sadly no. Even with 2 hours, there just wasn't enough time to speak with him about all of his amazing work. Sorry.
