My order has been in Awaiting Shipment mode for a week now. I know the monkeys at LLL are working their tails off getting them out the door, though.

As has mine, Adam. I've usually received shipping notifications from LLL, though on occasion I don't. Either way, I'm confident it'll show up. Those monkeys deliver the goods!

Well, they only have TWO employees!

So much thought and care obviously went into Jim Titus' graphic design and Mike Matessino's hefty liner notes. I love that each score gets a substantial booklet of its own while we also get a fourth mega-booklet to tie it all together

Very excited to get hold of my copy which according to tracking is currently heading across the Atlantic. Mike, I know how much thought and care you always put into your notes and I was wondering what you think is the best order to read the notes? Read the general booklet first as an introduction and then read the individual notes for each score for more detail? Or read the individual score notes first and then the additional booklet to tie it all together?

Awaiting Shipment most of today. I know they're busy but I will tear through the house like a wild Kevin Mcallister if it's not under my tree Christmas morn.

So out of sheer curiosity, are there any bonus extras at the end of discs that LLL often does?

The only hidden extras are at the end of "Firebolt (Alternate)".

You can actually hear them both in the latest Tim Burden / Mike Matessino interview

SAE site says delayed until early January.

Completely or just at their website?

MV of La La Land stated in a few threads that the early copies would be sent directly from La La Land, and other retailers wouldn't get it until additional copies came in.

One suggestion would be to read the outer book intro and Columbus note, then read the HP1 booklet, then JW's notes about the Children's Suite in the outer booklet, then listen to all of HP1 (or break it up however you like). Then read the booklets for HP2 and 3 before listening to those respective scores, adding in the original directors' notes along the way. The outer booklet is really just an overview and a guide for when you're listening. The disc booklets detail the histories of the projects. Have fun!

…still waiting… so eager to finally have this…

(but I got my Grusin bundle from Varèse, so I am quite distracted for now)

Big kudos on the notes, they're a pleasure to read. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of politics you had to navigate in dealing with a property this enormous.

Thanks Mike, sounds great! I'm really looking forward to sitting down and revelling in every note of music and every word of the notes. Thanks for all the hard work in putting this together and getting it released!

Screen archives say this release has been put off to beginning of February.
I got a notice just two days ago claiming I will get this in time for Christmas.
What is true?

If you wanted it for Christmas, you had to order directly from La-La Land Records, not from a third-party retailer.

MV from LLL posted this information to this board multiple times.

As stated many times before, if you wanted this before Christmas it was wise to order it through us. We are literally sending out a few thousand of these things along with the other cds released. We are getting to them as quickly as we can. Our crew are working until 9...10 PM some nights processing and packing. Please be patient.

As always, please read statements carefully. We stated it will start shipping on Dec 7. START. So folks who just ordered Harry by itself, or with CDs that were in stock along with it have had their orders sent out...most of them. Our plant is literally feeding us 100s of boxes a day. We should get the rest of them this afternoon. Mr. Williams and I don't even have copies yet. Lol

Still waiting on Giants to come in and the rest of Dracula (don ask...blame the CD plants shutting down in the US).

Most stores were sent out Schindler and TWINE this week.
