Time to open up a thread for this magnificent follow-up to the first film/score. I would even say Göransson who excelled at writing the score for the first Rocky spin-off absolutely managed to craft a delightful sequel score which can stand beside the first one proudly. What do you guys think?

This was one slow, drab film. Overlong, misguided and muddled at times, I found it hard to really cheer for anyone. Adonis Creed cut a glum and moody figure throughout the film, as did his girlfriend. Unlike Drago in ROCKY IV (angry, mean uber-baddie), Drago Jnr was portrayed as a sad victim of circumstance here and I found it hard to really cheer against him. He was just as tragic a character as Creed himself, except he seemed to feel sorry for himself a lot less. Even the fights lacked punch for me. Shorter, choppier, they didn't come out swinging like the fights of old Rocky films. Only when THAT music kicked in did any hairs stand to rise. I think this one is gonna sit down there with ROCKY V in the Rocky charts.

Rocky V will always be worthwhile for the "You knocked him down, why don't you try knockin' me down now" moment alone.

Vince DiCola tried to get this assignment, but sadly he didn't have a chance in hell.
