I’ve finally come around to opening the last of the Holiday gifts and true to form I kept the best for last.
DrivingMissDaisy AKA Peter Hackman sent me not one, but TWO CDs!
Not wanting to make things complicated for Peter, I proposed three Varese Club titles. Of these, I received the « deluxe » edition of On Deadly Ground, a longtime favorite of mine, now finally expanded. Ode to joy, says I! 
The package that Peter had sent me had quite a heft to it, so that could mean only one of two things:
1. Peter added a rather heavy Holiday card  Or,
2. A second CD.
Turns out that Peter added a signed copy of the now OOP Rocket Gibraltar! And a good thing too, as I had mentioned my intent of purchasing Rocket Gibraltar after the Holidays (and we all know that it went OOP in the meantime)  .
So, thanks again Peter for a wonderful and thoughtful gift (and your unequaled generosity). So much wonderful music to start off the new year.
And a wonderful 2019 to all and especially to the kindly Mitchells for hosting this now yearly tradition. Kudos Mitchells!
