...I'm hearing HORRIBLE scratchy, pulsing distortion on that track.... is it inherent in the recording, or is my copy going bad? It's also on track 18....and 19(I'm listening to the CD as I type this)!

Not that any of you care, but I got a reply from Doug about this, and he said that this is the first time he's heard of this. Unfortunately, North By Northwest sold out a long time ago, and the score has now become the property of Warner Brother's "digital" catalog, so bottom line is I'm shit out of luck.
