SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK---Dean Norris, Gil Bellows and Lorraine Toussaint have joined the cast of the movie based on the children's books. Guillermo del Toro is the producer.
HALLOWEEN---the digitally-remastered version of John Carpenter's classic 1978 horror movie will be rereleased in over 1,000 theaters beginning September 27.
THE BATMAN---Jon Hamm talked about possibly starring in the movie, "It depends on the script, what the story is. I am a huge comic book fan, always have been. I have read comic books since I was nine or younger. And I am pretty knowledgeable about a lot of them. And I like the genre, and I like when they are done well... I'd probably fit the suit. I'd have to work out a lot, which I don't love. But, I am sure there is an interesting version of that being out there. And if they wanted to tap me on the shoulder and ask me to do it: why not?"
CURSED---Netflix released the synopsis for the series starring Katherine Langford (13 REASONS WHY) as the Lady of the Lake.
"CURSED, based on the upcoming book of the same name, is a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue. It is a coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible."
