I enjoyed this line from the review:

"A creature with the delts of a prize fighter, the potbelly of a toddler, a possible addiction to Crest White Strips and the external genitalia of a Ken doll"

Still, I bet it's an entertaining night at the theatre. Maybe not for the right reasons, but I've often been impressed with what they can actually do on stage. It does show that ingenuity still exists beyond the bounds of f*****g CGI.

We just be grateful for this. And of course, the Broadway angle has presence in the movie itself which is obviously why someone thought it was a good idea.

Not sure about the HAIRLESS ape of course...
