I'm talking about the fact that she was a celebrity gaining her advantages that non-celeb's do not, including financial ones unrelated to Gilligan's Island residuals.

Nowadays non-celebrities with a sympathetic story get loads of Go Fund Me money all the time. The homeless guy who gave his last $20 to a stranded yuppie? His page raked in $400K. Dawn Wells has spent her life dealing with the impositions of being world famous, while NEVER having been paid the kind of money that empowers more recent celebrities to shield themselves with secluded mansions and private security. Her generation of TV actors made very little money. I hope the funding page takes care of her. Better late than never.
