I'm telling you, all these beauties would be a walk in the park to transcribe and re-record. The possible nightmare would be to clear the music on legal terms for a CD release.
Here's another beauty, some Barry fans like myself thought he did this one like the Mercedes add. Enjoy. Thanks to Tony Weeks for starting this thread with some great rarities.
This was on the John Barry Facebook group too, interview with one of the ad directors about working with Barry and Jarre (see transcript of interview below podcast):

Someone said on the Youtube video I uploaded for the "Faithful" commercial, that it is an original piece composed by Martin Hewer (for the Amber Music agency).
Might be able to find the piece and hear more! The TOS are strict and only certain people can register and be given a password/user name, so we'll have to rely on certain board members for this.

Can you upload this short track again? Danke schön!
I remember reading in a book that Barry was responsible for one of my personal holy grails of instrumental music: The After Eight Mints Theme from the early 70s:
Can anybody confirm that? That would mean an awful lot to me since I 've never been able to ascertain if this was the complete 55 sec. piece written for the ad (without a real beginning and a fade out) or if this was in fact a complete track/song, in which case I would give my left arm to know the title and orchestra. I found this original recording on an After Eight promotional disc from the early 90s (no info from the long defunct label; the track is simply called "After Eight Theme", no composer or anything mentioned). But it had a rubbing spot on the front which produced the After Eight mint scent (and still does a little...)
