Per Roger, the campaign starts tomorrow around the time they announce the next release. His exact quote: We'll be launching our campaign tomorrow during our normal announcement time window. Come find out the title, the conductor and what's on our mind for the future!

I’ve posted the link for the Kickstarter over at Home Theater Forum and at a forum run by LeHah’s old high school friend in order to spread the news. I honestly have to say I wasn’t expecting this particular score (not one of my favorite Hitchcocks), but I suppose they have to start somewhere, and Stromberg’s involvement is no surprise.

As they say "great minds". Dial M would have been on my list too, plus... Hondo, Vera Cruz, Secret Invasion (from Friedhofer). Pride and the Passion (from Anthiel). The Trials of Oscar Wilde, The Day of the Triffids (from Goodwin). Hell Below Zero, Night of the Demon, Sink the Bismarck! (from Clifton Parker). I'm sure there are many more, but it would take 30 years to get those mentioned so far on this thread to be recorded at 1 per 2 years.

Pride and the Passion (from Frankel). I think you mean George Antheil? I would buy that too. Also like that you threw Clifton Parker out there, as I love his film scores. But I would be very much surprised if Intrada pursued a Parker re-recording...or any of the others you listed. But I really like all the scores you listed -- in fact I like them all much better than Dial 'M' for Murder. Yavar

Hi Yavar, Sorry about the Anthiel error. Old age is creeping up on me. I was aware of the Triffids suite... I'd just forgotten. I have it in my collection. Around 10,000 titles in all. I realise that Intrada aren't likely to do any of the British titles, but I often feel that if I don't stand up for them then no-one will. Personally I'd be happy to get some of the Friedhofer and Rozsa titles.

I totally respect that and will back you up! I adore Alwyn, Parker, Davie, Arnold, etc. I would point out that Intrada has been championing Ron Goodwin a decent amount, releasing three of his Disney scores as well as a few others including the wonderful Sir Gawain and the Green Knight: http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/sc.16/category.23348/.f But funding an entirely new recording is a much more expensive proposition of course and I very much doubt they would newly record a Goodwin score. I do hold out some hope that Clifton Parker's Disney scores might see a release if they survive in the studio vaults. I think his Robin Hood and Treasure Island scores in particular might even have some modest sales potential, given the titles. Same goes for Alwyn's Swiss Family Robinson. Sadly I think there's much less chance of the non-Disney British scores surviving by these composers, great as they are. Personally I'd be happy to get some of the Friedhofer and Rozsa titles. I would too! I hope we get one of them next. To whet your appetite for a potential Joan of Arc, here is the "Gothic Prelude" which was newly performed just a few years ago and recorded live! https://hugofriedhofer.dudaone.com/gothic-prelude Yavar
