I'm re-checking some things to be sure. Just found an old VHS video of WINGED SERPENT on my attic. Will re-post my comments later. My previous posting is not lost. ;o)

The Ragland score sounds like it's worth a purchase. I haven't sampled the others yet.

Okay, I've reconfirmed it with my old TV recording of WINGED SERPENT. The tracklisting on the CAM-CD is wrong. I've checked the sequence at the end of the movie, where's a knock at the door of Michael Moriaty. After this, the priest comes in and tries to kill him. The music in this sequence is, on the CERBERUS-LP, correctly titled as "Witchdoctor's Revenge". On the CD, it's called "Another Stab At It". The CAM-CD has two tracks not on the LP, "Crunch Crunch" and "Joan Learns The Ugly Truth". The CAM-CD omits two tracks from the LP, the song "Let's Fall Apart Together" and the final track of the LP, titled "Chicken Or The Egg", 1:24 long. There is a track called "Chicken Or The Egg" on the CD, but this track contains the music from "Another Stab At It" of the LP. The track listing on the CD is off from track 17. Track 17 should be called "Witch Way He Go?" (yes, "Witch", not "Which"). So was it called on the LP. But this tracktitle is completely missing on the CD. So everything from track 17 is off by one track and not named correctly on the CAM-CD. What can be heard as "Chicken Or The Egg" on the LP is not on the CAM-CD. Instead of this, there's a 1:1 repeat of the Main Title. Kronos reproduces track titles and track timings of the CAM-CD, in the first 22 tracks. So, this is wrong. The track title "Witch Way He Go?" is missing there, too. There is also no fitting 1:24 track in the bonus material which can be the real "Chicken Or The Egg" from the LP. I love this score. For me this is Ragland's best. I'll buy the CD soon, as funds allow on Thursday. But I really think there is still something wrong with the presentation of WINGED SERPENT on CD.

I am aware of this and have tried to fix it but since I am starting the CD with the presentation of the original album for which the track names are registered there was nothing I could do about this. I hope this does not ruin from any of the fun of the listen of both the original album, the alternates and previously unreleased tracks. Just a thought, but what Lukas Kendall would do regularly with FSM releases where there were contractually-obligated but incorrect cue titles: he would provide the corrected titles as part of the liner notes booklet, while still maintaining the "official" but incorrect ones. MACRO (GIUDA UCCIDE IL VENERDI) by NICO FIDENCO Previously unreleased score with the exeption of 2 songs released on a 7"vinyl single back in the 70s. The 45 r.p.m single on Giuda Uccide il Venerdi is listed @ soundtrackcollector.com as being from 1973. IMDB indicates a release of February of 1974 for this movie, so Fidenco's music was likely recorded late in '73. Scant information online about Giuda Uccide il Venerdi leaves me wondering if this flick is a giallo, a romance/drama or a mystery. One translation into English = "Judas kills on Friday" ... but why was this picture retitled Macro'?
