I've just added another 10 Hidden Gems to our previously published list of 70 films bringing the total to 80. This category was started about 5 years ago so many of the titles once listed (thanks to the efforts of cable networks and home video companies) are not so "hidden" anymore. Nevertheless, I'd like to list one film per week, starting with our latest entry (#80) and work our way to #1. Please feel free to comment on the film we will be focusing on especially if you've seen it. Alternatively, if you haven't, please tell us if this sounds like a motion picture that you would like to view.

You are right, Arthur. Terrific little noir. The shootout at the end is realistic and intense. Robert Taylor really shines in this, showing he was a much better actor than he was given credit for.
