Having been the victim to and survivor of emotional trauma, I think all of us need to keep James Fitzpatrick in our thoughts and prayers. He has given all of us so much! I hope he is doing better and will let us know of his progress. I will try to put a message on this discussion thread for him every week and hope that many will add to it.
With thoughts of hope and recovery..........God Speed.
I'll add my wishes for a full recovery. Maybe someone who knows James personally will see this and convey our positive thoughts. I think that at the moment that's the only way he'll know. I get the impression that he's in no fit state to look at message boards himself. He's even been silent on Facebook, although people are posting their encouragement for him there too. A very terrible condition to be in. The recovery process will be slow, but the main thing is that he can and will get better with time and careful treatment.
But yes, of course, James has been in my thoughts almost every day. And I think that that's the case with a lot of people here at the FSM Board - In many cases I think that people were reluctant to post because they knew he needed peace and quiet, and they didn't want to start a thread which would have potentially deteriorated into a "When are you going to record my favourite score?"list of requests again.
Maybe one day when James is feeling a bit better he'll have a look here and see our best wishes, which I think was Loverozsa's intention. Nice gesture.
