Coming September 28
The “Rick and Morty” soundtrack is coming to vinyl, digital, CD, and cassette. The double album arrives September 28 via Adult Swim/Sub Pop. In addition to songs by show composer Ryan Elder, its 26 tracks include new songs by clipping. and Chad VanGaalen, plus Mazzy Star, Belly, and Blonde Redhead tracks featured on the show.
The Adult Swim show has a history of musical tie-ins. One episode featured Logic, and last month, Rick and Morty made a song for Kanye’s birthday. (Neither of those will appear on the soundtrack release.)

This makes me cry...tears of joy. The music for this series is fantastic! We looked into doing it earlier this year (wish I watched it sooner), but alas, were too late. While I can totally see folks being turned off my the shows bizarre humor, the score is truly one of the best on TV today. So happy it's coming to cd.
