I am new here..

And maybe this has been discussed lately...or not...

But when is Willow going to get the complete soundtrack care it deserves?

I remember hearing some chatter back in January for its 30th anniversary year...but nothing since.

Any word?

As been noted before, anniversary dates rarely have any impact when a score is released.
I'm always game for another expanded Horner score when and if it happens.

Would you also like me to hold your hand to the bathroom?

Yes, but my hands are already wet. Is that a problem?

A personal problem, yes. So, do you wet your hands often?

Only when you offer to hold my hand.

This new member just asked a question. Glad litefoot answered his question. New people don't always know how to use the search engine so they should be cut some slack.

Yes, because FSM is the only online forum with a search engine. It's unlikely the new member has ever encountered one before in a forum or even sites of other kinds.

Exactly, thank you Joan. And I would add that the search engine on this board is notoriously problematic (and even using Google site searches doesn't work a lot of the time, I've found).

Justin, if you care (and I won't be surprised if you don't) you are really coming across as a jerk these past couple days. And I know you're not, because you are usually polite here. Are you perhaps letting some frustrations from your personal life bleed onto your board participation? Maybe just cool down the biting comments a little bit, and try to see things from someone else's point of view? Just a friendly suggestion; I'm not meaning to police.

No, I don't care. Nothing I have done in the passed few days reaches the level you claim. I tried to have a reasonable fact-based conversation with a member and put me on ignore after going on tangents and ignoring facts and points. This does not make me or anybody else doing that a jerk.

And so forth and so on.

I don't need FSM or any other forum to actually be a jerk, I got real life to use to accomplish that. And if I really wanted to online, I'd just start an anonymous account here.

We all have really crappy days and sometimes it hemorrhages through our conversations, online and face to face. I was just discussing this with another member recently. It seems that the stress of day to day existence has caught up with many here and it is reflected in the comments lately. Some normally chilled-out members are sounding very different.

That said, this newbie asked a pretty mundane question. I am trying not to be suspicious of all new folks and deeming them trolls. One particular new member (troll) came in aching for a fight, was over the top and completely hideous. I am still steamed about the comment about a composer's looks. Not all trolls burn the house down, some come in as "golly gee". As long as it's a public forum, I guess anyone is free to join which is how it should be. Maybe we all need to take a deep breath and put on some music.

These are tough times folks and an expanded Willow would sure make it easier to take.

What exactly was "the level" I claimed? You came across like a jerk to *me*, and I'm sure you did to many other people who don't have the context of you being a good contributor on this board.

This sarcastic comment of yours was totally unnecessary, especially in light of the fact that the search engine here is notoriously terrible: "Yes, because FSM is the only online forum with a search engine. It's unlikely the new member has ever encountered one before in a forum or even sites of other kinds."

In fact, guess what? I just used the search engine here and can confirm that when I search for just "willow", a number of threads come up but not the recent one which Roger posted in. Searching for "willow complete" brings up *nothing* -- not even this very thread! So it's entirely possible this new user did search for it and couldn't find anything.

But of course your posting in this thread is nothing compared to the other one where you totally lost it attacking a person who was just inquiring about LLL honoring their posted sale price for Goldsmith western scores, accusing the person of wanting LLL to take a financial loss and such, which clearly was not the case. That was really especially unbecoming, IMO. Just trying to let you know as a fellow poster who usually appreciates your posts; not like I want to get in a fight with you myself.

That's exactly what I would like, but, respectfully: where were you in the other thread, during the past 24 hours, when Ado was getting so much unkind grief over his simple inquiry? I kept staying out of it, not wanting to say anything to make it worse, and hoping a moderator would jump in...but, crickets. Guess I should mind my own business, but when you see someone continually getting attacked undeservedly, it's hard to hold one's tongue.

I'm done in this thread, though, and hope that Justin and I can continue get along fine elsewhere. I was not trying to offend but only to understand and hold a mirror up.
